Features of ICS pipes
ICS pipes are stainless steel clad pipes. Ultra thin (0.1mm) stainless steel strip, SUS304 (18Cr-8Ni), is attached to the surface of carbon steel pipes for machine structural use which are produced by a high frequency welding automatic pipe-making machine. The joint sections are welded by a seam welding method.
The surface of the stainless steel pipes is polish-finished to #400. It gives a beautiful appearance and a solid and elegant gloss compared to plated pipes.
The joints of the covering stainless pipes are completely welded. Since the joints are also welded on the inner steel pipes, the pipe can be used as one integrated pipe, and can compare favorably with a all stainless steel pipe.
ICS pipes are much less expensive than all stainless steel pipes.
